Art seminars are venues where artists who have different skills but have specific common interest come together for training or learning purposes. The work schedule and goals of an art seminar are aimed at enriching the skills of the participants.

Many of my seminars are commonly offered as intermediate and upper-level courses, these are often smaller classes of approximately 15 -25 students each, designed to facilitate more intensive study of specific subject or genre.

My seminars can be a presentation on a topic covering some facet of knowledge or skills. The presentation can be taught as one single session or multiple sessions, or as in the case of the Traditions Education program they are broken into Modules. My goal as the art teacher is to impart knowledge of the topic, and use a combination of lecture, visual aids, interaction with participants, and exercises to get the essence of the painting in place.

The participants learn the concepts behind the subject that is the focus of the seminar. Seminars tend to be a blend of lecture and discussion as well as painting.
